We’re always moving forward and happy to announce the release of version 3.1 and some improvements worth discussing. We hope you like the update. As always, don’t hesitate to leave feedback or suggestions for further improvements.
The New Scorecard
Our original design didn’t really let users know that they could skip to, or start on, any hole. It also didn’t really let users know that they could submit nine-hole scores. Our new design makes these features more transparent. If you want to submit a score at any point, or skip to a specific hole, go to the “…” menu button in the bottom right.
Points, Points, Points
We never really explained how a golfer earns points on GolfStatus. We fixed that, you can now see how points are accumulated by clicking the “i” button next to Points Leaders on the Leaderboard page.
Points are a fun way to measure your overall golf activity and can lead to some nice leaderboard prizes in addition to individual rewards.
We have added some additional reward triggers. This means more opportunities for courses and brands to reward you on the course.
What happened to the Cash?
We have decided to focus our further development on enhancing different parts of GolfStatus. Thus, Status Cash has been removed and replaced with check-ins as a leaderboard option. Look for more leaderboard options in our next release.
